Hello future Little Guys Movers owner,

Little Guys Movers is a professional moving company with locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Florida. Founded in 1992, we wanted to build our business on the tenet that our job is not just to haul belongings from Point A to B, but to make the entire transition more comfortable for our customers. That means hiring only the best individuals onto our moving crews, emphasizing quality training from Day 1, and clearly communicating with our customers through every step of the moving process. To us, moving is more than a general labor job — it’s a matter of hospitality; an extension of good craftsmanship.

We’ve spent the past 30 years turning those values and goals into a successful system that has allowed us to grow each year — including an expansion into the franchising sector. Our first franchise store opened in 2014, and our franchisees have since opened six new Little Guys Movers locations around the Central and Southeastern U.S.

A Letter From Longtime Franchisee, David Conklin

I’m David Conklin and I’ve been a franchise owner with Little Guys Movers since 2007. When I first considered franchising, I was a little overwhelmed. I had no experience with running a franchise, and the idea made me nervous. But from day one, franchising with Little Guys felt like a partnership. Marcus, Chris, and the entire team provided much needed support, and they had the extensive experience to propel me forward. I feel like I’ve always had a say about the future of Little Guys Movers and my businesses, and that’s been invaluable to me.

After running my store in Lubbock, Texas for a few years, I decided to add a second location. When I spoke to the leadership team at Little Guys Movers, they were excited and supportive. They helped with every step of the process — choosing a territory, finding a building location, and advising on hiring decisions. I now own six Little Guys Movers stores, and having multiple units has been fantastic. It has helped average out the highs and lows, and has created great cash flow. It also leads to more growth within the organization, so I am able to retain great employees.
